Our Programmes

CHIN-ECPAT Zambia works through four core programmes to guide collaborative partnership efforts towards the achievement of improved child outcomes for children in Zambia:

Capacity building in the following specialist areas of work with children

  • Preventing child labour
  • Psychosocial support
  • Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC)
  • Child trafficking
  • Work with street children
  • HIV and AIDS and the impact on children

Governance and Management

The focus of this programme is on accountability, transparency and consistency. CHIN-ECPAT Zambia members strongly believe and agree that there is a need for self-regulation, and that this should be a shared responsibility of the various stakeholders.

Knowledge Development and Communication

This programme looks at creating strategic partnerships and alliances specifically for knowledge development at various levels in country, sub regional and international levels.

Research and Advocacy

Focus is on promoting and supporting policy dialogue, promoting civic engagement and conducting research to inform advocacy work. Attention is paid to areas of legislation; planning, policy development and monitoring; resource allocation and utilization; coordination, child justice and social protection.
